Support for Families Living with Big Feelings
The Oaklings stories offer shared language and gentle practice for family life.
For some families, reading together is enough. For others, it opens the door to deeper questions about our context, environments, emotions, and how to respond when things feel hard.
This page is for families looking for personalized, values-led support—
rooted in the same principles that guide the stories.
My Approach
My work with families is grounded in psychological flexibility, behavior science, and a deep respect for context. I don’t believe families need fixing. I believe they need support that helps them slow down, build shared language, and shape environments that reflect what matters most to them.
Together, we focus on understanding what’s happening beneath the surface—big feelings, patterns, routines, and environments—and practicing small, meaningful shifts that support connection and well-being.
How I Support Families
🌿 Family Coaching
One-on-one or family-centered coaching to support emotional understanding, values-based decision-making, and everyday challenges. Sessions are collaborative, reflective, and shaped around your family’s unique context.
🌿 Home & Rhythm Support
Guidance for creating home environments, routines, and rhythms that support regulation, flexibility, and family connection—without rigid systems or unrealistic expectations.
🌿 Values & Language Integration
Support in identifying what matters most to your family and building shared language you can use in everyday moments—so values guide how you respond, not just what you hope for.
